1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Florimetry ("Florimetry," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit florimetry.shop (the "Site"), make a purchase, or contact us. Florimetry is located at 6 Berry Patch Rd, Amelia, OH 45102, United States. Our Site is intended for users in the United States.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Order information: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (optional), items purchased, and order notes.
• Payment information: card details are entered on our payment processor's secure systems. We receive only limited information, such as card type, the last four digits and expiration date. We do not store full card numbers.
• Communications: messages you send us, such as support emails and contact form submissions.
• Marketing sign-ups: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Cookies and local storage: we use your browser's local storage to remember your cart and order notes. We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics and, if enabled, advertising. See section 6.

3. How we use information

• To process, fulfill, ship and deliver your orders, and to send order confirmations and shipping updates.
• To process payments and help prevent fraud.
• To respond to your questions and provide customer support, including returns and refunds.
• To send marketing emails if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as needed with:

• Service providers who help us run our business, including payment processors, e-commerce and hosting providers, email service providers, shipping carriers (such as USPS and UPS), and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of our customers or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, generally up to seven years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Support communications are kept for up to three years.

6. Cookies, analytics and your choices

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or clear local storage; if you do, parts of the Site such as the cart may not work. Where we use analytics or advertising cookies, you can opt out through your browser settings or tools provided by those services. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined under California law. Our Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no common standard for them.

7. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and, if applicable, sell or share, and to access a copy of it.
• Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right).
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in section 2 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, and approximate geolocation) for the purposes in section 3, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in section 4. We have not sold personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@florimetry.shop with the subject "California privacy request." We'll verify your identity by matching information you provide with our records, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization.

Shine the Light

California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

8. Privacy rights in other states

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling. To make a request, email privacy@florimetry.shop. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Appeal."

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and PCI-compliant payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we'll give more prominent notice, such as an email to customers.
